Job summary

Nutanix is seeking a Technical Account Manager to serve as a trusted advisor to customer operations, engineering, and executive stakeholders. You will develop deep technical knowledge of the customer's data center and IT initiatives to accelerate value from virtualization, hybrid cloud, storage, and networking.

This role leads strategic health checks, lifecycle planning, and cross-functional incident management, while coordinating escalations and driving modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• US citizen residing in continental US.
• 8+ years in technical customer-facing roles (e.g., Technical Account Manager, Support Engineer, or Technical Customer Experience Manager).
• Experience supporting large enterprise, strategic, or government customers with complex environments.
• Deep expertise in virtualization, hybrid cloud, storage, networking, data protection, or distributed systems.
• Broad understanding of data-center infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, disaster recovery, high availability, security).
• Strong Nutanix platform expertise, including AOS and AHV.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep, technical understanding of the customer’s data center architecture and IT initiatives to serve as a trusted advisor to operations, engineering, and executive stakeholders.
• Lead strategic operational reviews and comprehensive health checks linking Nutanix recommendations to business outcomes and risk reduction.
• Lead proactive lifecycle planning including software upgrades, capacity planning, resilience, and platform standardization.
• Identify systemic operational and architectural risks and establish cross-functional action plans to mitigate them.
• Lead or coordinate critical customer escalations with clear ownership, executive communication, and timely resolution.
