Heartland Business Systems is seeking a senior IT service professional to act as a high-level escalation point for the most complex incidents, leading advanced projects and ensuring secure, stable client environments. The role spans networking, systems engineering, or a hybrid of both, with mentorship of Tier 1/2 teams and collaboration across vendors and internal teams.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in IT service or networks, 3+ years in design/implementation for managed services, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT service, systems or network administration.
• 3+ years designing or supporting client networks in managed services.
• Associate degree or equivalent in a technology field.
• Certifications: CCNA, Network+, Server+, MS O365/Azure (non-fundamentals).

Responsibilities

• Serve as high-level escalation point for complex incidents and problems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues across servers, networks, and cloud/security.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.
• Mentor Tier 1/2 staff to reduce escalations and improve skills.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve escalated issues and support MSP.
• Participate in security audits, patching, and change management.
