Job summary

Heartland Business Systems is seeking a Technical Architect to develop, implement, and support network services for consulting clients while mentoring teammates.

You will lead engineers on multi-technology projects, collaborate with Practice Leads, manage timelines, and communicate updates to the Project Management Team. Maintain vendor certifications and stay current with best practices, helping educate sales teams on solutions to deliver world-class service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical field.
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
• Two or more professional level certifications.
• Certifications: CCNP, CCP-V, VCAP-DCV, MCA.
• Experience designing and architecting network solutions.
• Experience with Cisco or HP/Aruba switches and routers.
• Knowledge of IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS.
• Strong prioritization and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Practice Leads to create and maintain documents and procedures.
• Lead large projects with Project Managers to deliver on time and on budget.
• Provide leadership to engineers and ensure tasks are completed accurately and timely.
• Be the Lead Engineer on multi-technology projects.
• Provide daily updates to the Project Management Team and manage timelines, resources, and risks.
• Mentor teammates and share skills across the team.
• Educate sales teams on products and services to drive solutions.
• Maintain professional demeanor in team and customer meetings.
