Job summary

Heartland Business Systems is seeking a Technical Architect to develop, implement, and support network services for consulting clients. You will mentor team members and collaborate with Practice Leads to define specifications and requirements for optimal solutions.

The role includes leading engineers on complex projects, maintaining timely communication with the Project Management Team, and driving best practices across network technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical field.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• Two or more professional level certifications.
• Experience designing network-based solutions.
• Installing and supporting Cisco/HP/Aruba network devices.
• IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS experience.
• Strong prioritization and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Practice Leads to create and maintain documents and procedures.
• Lead large projects with Project Managers to meet deadlines and budget.
• Provide leadership to engineers and ensure timely task completion.
• Act as Lead Engineer on multi-technology projects.
• Communicate project status, timelines, and resources to stakeholders.
• Educate sales teams on products and services and maintain certifications.
