Job summary

Heartland Technology Group is seeking a senior IT escalation engineer to act as the high-level escalation point within the service delivery team. You will diagnose and resolve the most complex issues across servers, networks, cloud platforms, and security systems, mentoring junior staff and guiding strategic improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT service role, systems or network administration.
• 3+ years designing, implementing, and supporting client networks/systems in a managed services role.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience in technology field.
• Three+ of CCNA, Network+, Server+, MS O365 or Azure certs.

Responsibilities

• Escalation point for complex incidents and problems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues across servers, networks, cloud platforms, and security systems.
• Lead maintenance, upgrades, and migrations for server and network infrastructure.
• Mentor Tier 1/2 staff and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and protect client environments.
