Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer IV for Aerospace Engineering to lead requirements definition, verification planning, and risk management on DoD or MDA-aligned missile defense programs. The role reports to the SE-Systems Functional Manager and is based in California, with options for Reno, NV, Hybrid or Remote.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive traceability, verification activities, and risk mitigation while mentoring junior engineers and advancing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of systems engineering experience or 11 years without a degree.
• Experience with MDA processes, CDRL development, and formal technical reviews.
• Proficiency in requirements management tools (DOORS) and lifecycle standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, decomposition, and maintenance of system, subsystem, and interface requirements with full traceability.
• Develop and execute verification plans, procedures, and compliance matrices.
• Plan and lead system-level verification events, reviews, inspections, and tests.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation plans with limited oversight and tracking.
• Coordinate with propulsion, software, hardware, GNC, test, quality, and safety teams.
• Serve as primary technical contact for customer and supplier stakeholders on changes.
• Drive planning, scheduling, and tracking of engineering deliverables; support CDRL development.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements.
