Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a senior Systems Engineer V to define, integrate, and validate complex defense systems in a dynamic, mission-driven environment. You will lead system-level requirements, architecture, and verification efforts across multiple engineering disciplines.

Based in Folsom, CA, with options for Reno, NV or remote work, this role demands MBSE expertise, strong stakeholder collaboration, and a track record of driving technical excellence and program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a STEM field with required years of experience.
• Deep familiarity with MDA processes, CDRL development, and SE lifecycle standards.
• Expert-level proficiency with requirements management tools (DOORS) and SysML/Cameo.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical authority ensuring program-level SE rigor and compliance.
• Oversee requirements definition, traceability, and verification planning.
• Lead system architecture development and system-level V&V plans.
• Interface with propulsion, software, hardware, GNC, and test teams for coherent system performance.
• Manage system-level risk identification and mitigation integration into program risk posture.
• Coordinate baseline management and formal reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
• Provide MBSE leadership and toolchain alignment (SysML, Cameo, requirements DB).
• Liaise with customer and supplier on requirements flowdown and resolution.
• Mentor junior systems engineers to improve knowledge transfer.
