Voyager Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer III - Project Engineer to lead engineering tasks on defense programs. The role involves coordinating across disciplines, managing schedules, and supporting IPTs to meet program goals.

Qualified candidates bring DoD lifecycle experience, EVM familiarity, and strong communication with stakeholders. The position supports remote, Reno, or Folsom locations with potential for travel and security-clearance duties.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required or able to obtain.
• 4-7 years in project engineering or systems engineering within defense/aerospace.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and basic scheduling tools (IMP/IMS).
• Familiar with DoD acquisition lifecycle and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support technical planning and execution of defense/aerospace projects.
• Develop and maintain integrated master schedules and work packages.
• Participate in cross-functional IPTs and coordinate across disciplines.
• Assist with risk identification and tracking; support SOWs and subcontract management.
• Prepare for design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and customer meetings.
