Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a senior Systems Engineer IV for Aerospace Engineering to lead requirements definition, verification planning, and risk management on DoD/MDA‑aligned missile defense programs.

The role reports to the SE‑Systems Functional Manager within the SE‑Systems Department and can be based in Reno, NV, hybrid or remote. You will drive traceability, verification planning, and cross‑functional collaboration with propulsion, software, hardware, GNC, test, quality, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, aerospace, mechanical engineering, or related STEM field with 7 years of systems engineering experience, or 11 years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) processes, CDRL development, and formal technical reviews.
• Proficient in DOORS (or equivalent) for requirements management.
• Solid knowledge of lifecycle standards (INCOSE SE Handbook, MIL-STD-499, EIA-632).
• Strong technical writing skills for briefings, documentation, CDRLs, and matrices.
• Excellent verbal communication for cross‑functional interfacing.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of system, subsystem, and interface requirements with full traceability.
• Develop and execute verification and validation plans and matrices.
• Plan and lead system‑level verification events, reviews, and tests.
• Conduct risk assessments and maintain risk tracking documentation.
• Interface with propulsion, software, hardware, GNC, test, quality, and safety teams to drive closure.
• Serve as primary technical point of contact for customer and suppliers on changes and risk posture.
• Drive planning, scheduling, and tracking of engineering deliverables and CDRLs; contribute to program reporting.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements.
