Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior Superintendent to plan, manage and execute highly complex projects across multiple sites. You will lead safety culture, coordinate subcontractors, and drive schedule, budget and quality outcomes in alignment with JE Dunn’s strategy.

The role requires 10+ years in construction with 8+ years in field supervision; strong leadership, communication and Lean principles are essential. Travel and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years construction experience; 8+ years field supervision.
• Valid driver's license required; ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of safety culture and ensures injury‑free environment.
• Provides management of subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Manages and oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self‑performed work.
• Coordinates the project site custody and care.
• Leads daily standup and weekly trade meetings.
• Attends progress and OAC meetings.
• Creates and manages the project schedule with the Project Manager.
• Monitors project budget and costs using PM system reports.
• Communicates key project information to owners, design team, and stakeholders.
• Ensures quality compliance through QA/QC and external resources.
• Supports project closeouts and pre‑punch activities.
• Establishes field staffing in collaboration with field leadership.
• Identifies and negotiates project changes with owners/architects.
