Job summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Superintendent to plan, manage, and execute projects with moderate complexity. You will lead a team, develop construction sequencing, and ensure timely, profitable project completion aligned with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

You will coordinate safety, quality, and workflow, oversee subcontractors and suppliers, and manage project schedules and budgets. A strong background in construction management, Lean principles, and mentorship is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred in construction management or related field.
• 8+ years construction experience with emphasis on leadership and complex projects.
• Willingness to travel and work non-traditional hours as project demands.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and execute on assigned projects with moderate to high complexity.
• Lead safety culture and mentor others to ensure injury-free environment.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams to deliver on time and within budget.
• Develop work plans, track budget and costs, and coordinate schedule with Project Manager.
• Communicate project information to owners, design team and stakeholders.
• Support project closeouts and document control for the project lifecycle.
