Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Superintendent to plan, manage and execute on all aspects of assigned projects with moderate complexity. Lead safety culture, oversee subcontractors and staff to meet project goals in a timely, profitable manner.

The role requires 8+ years in construction with 5+ years in field supervision, and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Travel and non-traditional hours may be required; JE Dunn values diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• 8+ years construction experience and 5+ years field supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and ensures injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates site care, custody and control.
• Leads daily standup and weekly trade meetings.
• Participates in project reviews and meetings.
• Manages project schedule and budget reporting.
