Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) seeks a Sr. Field Technician to lead field crews in testing, inspection, and maintenance of high-, medium-, and low-voltage equipment across diverse facilities in North America. You will drive safety, quality, and on-time project execution while interfacing with engineering teams and clients.

The role requires advanced technical expertise, leadership, and strong planning skills to deliver complex substation work and coordinate across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel/out of town.
• 10+ years of relevant industry experience; NETA certification preferred.
• Able to pass safety-sensitive screening and work in challenging environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews on testing, inspection, maintenance, and commissioning of HV/LV equipment.
• Ensure safety programs, PPE use, and daily safety briefings on site.
• Develop testing plans, review reports, and manage documentation packages.
• Provide technical guidance to field technicians and coordinate with engineers.
• Serve as primary field contact for customers and manage schedule adherence.
