Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) seeks a Senior Field Technician to lead crews, manage complex substation testing and maintenance projects, and interface with customers and engineering teams across North America.

The role combines advanced technical expertise with leadership and project coordination to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of electrical work on high, medium, and low voltage systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic technology; 10+ years in the field.
• NETA III certification is required; NETA IV is a plus.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check; willing to travel/oversee overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews in testing, inspection, maintenance, and commissioning of LV/MV/HV equipment.
• Ensure safety policies, PPE usage, and daily job-site safety briefings.
• Develop testing plans, procedures, and work scopes for electrical apparatus.
• Prepare and review detailed test/maintenance reports and closure documents.
• Provide technical leadership and coordinate field activities with engineers and PMs.
• Serve as primary field contact with customers and internal teams.
