Job summary
Electric Power Systems (EPS) seeks a Senior Field Technician to lead crews, manage complex testing and maintenance projects, and serve as a primary interface with customers and engineering teams. This role combines advanced technical expertise, leadership, and project coordination for substation work across electrical equipment and systems.
Responsibilities include developing testing plans, leading safety briefings, and delivering high-quality field execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or associate degree in Electrical/Electronic technology or military experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead crews in testing, inspection, maintenance, and commissioning of high, medium, and low voltage electrical equipment.
- Provide technical leadership and coordinate field activities to ensure safe, high-quality execution of substation work.
- Develop testing plans, procedures, and scopes for electrical apparatus and commissioning activities.
- Prepare and review detailed reports documenting testing, maintenance, repairs, and system performance.
- Manage large-scale projects, coordinating field activities to meet schedule, quality, and safety requirements.
