Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Sr. Field Technician to lead crews, manage complex testing and maintenance projects, and act as the primary field interface with customers and engineering teams.

You will supervise field activities across high, medium, and low voltage equipment, ensure safe work practices, and prepare detailed reports on testing and system performance. The role emphasizes technical leadership and project coordination in a demanding power environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in electrical/electronic technology.
• Military experience preferred.
• NETA III/IV certifications are a plus.
• Strong safety culture and ability to lead crews on field projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews in testing, inspection, maintenance, and commissioning of high, medium, and low voltage equipment.
• Install, test, and maintain electrical apparatus including circuit breakers, transformers, instrument transformers, grounding, batteries, and switchgear.
• Analyze test results and determine root cause; implement corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting testing, maintenance, repairs, and system performance.
• Coordinate field activities to meet schedule, quality, and safety requirements.
• Serve as primary field point of contact for customers and interface with engineers.
