Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Sr. Field Technician to lead field crews in testing, maintenance, and commissioning of substation equipment across North America. You will interface with customers and engineering teams to ensure safe, high-quality execution.

The role requires 10+ years in the electrical industry, NETA credentials, and strong leadership in field settings. EPS offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic technology or related field; Military experience considered.
• 10+ years in the electrical industry with hands-on field experience.
• NETA III certification (NETA IV a plus) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews in testing, inspection, maintenance, and commissioning of high, medium, and low voltage equipment.
• Install, test, and maintain electrical apparatus including breakers, transformers, instrument transformers, grounding, batteries, and switchgear.
• Perform complex troubleshooting of electrical and control systems; determine root cause and implement corrective actions.
• Develop testing plans and work scopes; prepare detailed reports documenting testing, maintenance, and system performance.
• Coordinate field activities with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure safe, on-time project delivery.
