Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of substation physical design experience.
• Associate degree in Drafting or equivalent technical experience.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Ability to visualize parts in 3D without the aid of CAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare substation drawings: GA, electrical equipment plans, section views, BOM, shielding, grounding, conduit details, below-grade conduit/raceway plans, control building plans.
• Interpreting and incorporating vendor information into design deliverables.
• Performing walkdowns at client facilities.
• Applying Client's standards related to the work.
