Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of substation physical design experience
• Associate’s Degree in Drafting or equivalent technical experience
• Proficient with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
• Ability to visualize parts in 3D without the aid of the computer

Responsibilities

• Prepare substation drawings: General Arrangement, Electrical Equipment Plans, Section Views, Bill of Material, Shielding, Grounding, Conduit and Grounding Details, Below Grade Conduit/Raceway, and Control Building Plans and Section
• Interpret and incorporate vendor information into design deliverables
• Perform walkdowns at client facilities
• Apply Client's standards related to the work
