Saab, Inc. is seeking a Subcontracts Manager to lead high-value procurements and manage critical subcontractors within the Supply Chain team. The role is senior-level and offers the option to work remotely or on-site.

Responsibilities include drafting SOWs, issuing RFIs/RFQs, negotiating terms, and ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS, FAA, and international requirements. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Formación

• U.S. Government, DoD, or FAA contracts experience.
• Experience navigating FAR/DFARS contract requirements.
• BA/BS with 10+ years experience or MBA/MS/JD with 8+ years.
• Advanced purchasing experience, including ERP orders.
• Experience with contracting methods and types.

Responsabilidades

• Review and flow down requirements to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
• Assist Engineering in creating Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Issue RFIs and RFQs to subcontractors and manage the process.
• Conduct flow-down analyses for customer requirements including FAR/DFARS, FAA, and international requirements.
• Negotiate and manage supplier pricing, cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Execute subcontracts, IDCT agreements, NDAs, leasing and long-term agreements.
• Write contract letters and maintain records per U.S. Government CP systems.
• Support proposal costing for materials and labor.
• Coordinate with Saab programs across sites and affiliates.
• Travel up to 25% annually.
