Saab, Inc. is seeking a senior Subcontracts Manager to join the Supply Chain team in the United States. This high-impact role leads high-value procurements, negotiates contracts, and ensures FAR/DFARS compliance.

The position can be performed remotely or on-site at a Saab office, depending on business needs. Key responsibilities include evaluating supplier proposals, drafting SOWs with engineering, issuing RFIs/RFQs, handling subcontracts and NDAs, and supporting proposal costing.

Qualifications

• U.S. Government/DoD/FAA contracting experience required.
• Experience navigating FAR/DFARS requirements.
• Strong purchasing and ERP-based ordering knowledge.
• Ability to obtain U.S. government security clearance if required.

Responsabilités

• Review and flow down requirements to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
• Draft SOWs with engineering and issue RFIs/RFQs.
• Negotiate pricing, cost, and schedule with suppliers.
• Execute subcontracts, NDAs, and long-term agreements.
• Maintain records and support proposal costing.
• Coordinate with Saab programs across sites and travel up to 25%.
