Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking a Subcontracts Manager to join the Supply Chain team in a senior individual contributor role. You will execute high-value procurements, negotiate contracts, and ensure flow-down of FAR/DFARS requirements.

The position can be remote or on-site at Saab, Inc. offices in the United States. Responsibilities include flow-down of requirements, drafting SOWs, issuing RFIs/RFQs, negotiating pricing, and managing subcontracts, NDAs, and long-term agreements, with travel up to 25%

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 10+ years of experience or MBA/MS/JD with 8+ years of experience.
• U.S. Government, DoD, or FAA contracts experience.
• Experience navigating FAR/DFARS contract requirements.
• Advanced purchasing experience and ERP system orders.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and flow down requirements to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
• Assist Engineering in creating Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Issue RFIs/RFQs to subcontractors and manage responses.
