Saab, Inc. is seeking a Subcontracts Manager to lead high-value procurements and manage critical subcontractors. The role requires navigating FAR/DFARS contract requirements and strong negotiation skills, with the ability to issue RFIs/RFQs and manage complex agreements.

The position can be performed remotely or on-site, offering travel up to 25% and exposure to multiple programs across sites. A senior-level IC role with potential for strategic impact within the Supply Chain team.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 10+ years of experience.
• U.S. Government, DoD, or FAA contracts experience.
• Experience navigating and flowing down FAR/DFARS contract requirements.
• Advanced purchasing experience and ERP order-building capability.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Responsabilités

• Review, interpret, and flow down requirements to ensure compliance.
• Assist Engineering in creating Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Issue RFIs and RFQs to subcontractors and manage process.
• Negotiate and manage supplier pricing, cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Execute subcontracts, IDCT agreements, NDAs, and long-term agreements.
• Maintain comprehensive legal records per U.S. Government requirements.
