Job summary

IMEG, a 100% employee-owned firm, is hiring a Senior Structural Engineer in St. Louis, MO to lead design efforts as a project manager or lead engineer for moderate to complex projects. You will oversee projects, collaborate withExecutives to prepare proposals, create schedules, and ensure code compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee, and manage projects ranging in size and complexity.
• Assist Project Executives and Client Executives with design scopes of work, fee calculations for proposals, and contract reviews.
• Create project schedules with milestone and deadline targets.
• Serve as the point of contact for teams and clients.
• Create monthly billings, submit financial information to Accounting, and update billing projections and estimated completion percentages.
• Ensure designs follow owner standards and IMEG standards, and code requirements.
• Ensure design milestone deliverables, quality control processes, and construction technical support are completed in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with design staff and coordinate project schedules through all phases of design and construction.
• Schedule and lead progress meetings and provide meeting documentation.
• Conduct construction site visits, respond to and resolve client and construction concerns, and manage change orders and approvals.
• Train, mentor, and motivate staff while building, maintaining, and developing client relationships.
• Conduct oneself in an ethical and professional manner.
