IMEG is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to lead design efforts and collaborate with senior staff on building projects. The role involves analytical work, design oversight, and effective client communication in a hybrid, full-time setting across the Midwest.

You will mentor junior staff, support project planning, and stay current on structural engineering practices while contributing to sustainable design goals.

Qualifications

• BS degree in civil/structural/architectural engineering
• PE license preferred
• 2 years minimum in building design consulting; 4 preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and design of structural systems using various materials.
• Create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations per code and IMEG standards.
• Coordinate with clients to understand project needs and communicate technical info.
• Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication.
• Support project execution as part of a project team.
• Lead planning, budgeting, and scheduling to meet deadlines.
