Job summary

IMEG, a 100% employee-owned firm, is hiring a Structural Project Designer in St. Louis, MO. You will lead design efforts as a project manager or lead engineer for low to moderate complexity projects and collaborate with senior staff on larger, high-complexity projects.

You will work with engineers and consultants to provide engineering solutions, manage budgets, mentor staff, and ensure quality across structural, commercial, and institutional markets with a focus on sustainable design and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent, required.
• Associates degree or BIM/Engineering certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and design efforts for structural systems for diverse projects.
• Create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations per codes and IMEG standards.
• Engage clients to gather requirements and communicate technical information effectively.
• Support project execution through planning, budgeting, scheduling, and documentation.
