Job summary

IMEG, a 100% employee-owned firm, seeks a Senior Structural Engineer in Manhattan to lead large, complex projects as project manager or lead engineer. You will guide analysis, design, and implementation of structural systems, mentor staff, and collaborate across disciplines.

You will work on commercial and institutional projects in the New York metro, contributing to sustainable design goals and SE2050. Hybrid schedule in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Structural Engineer (SE) license and/or SE exam required.
• 10+ years in building design consulting; 12 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural-system analysis and design with detailed designs, specs and calculations.
• Perform site assessments and prepare analyses and technical reports.
• Communicate with clients and maintain professional relationships.
