Job summary

IMEG Corp. in St. Louis is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and project management for moderate to complex projects. You will guide teams, ensure quality, and deliver solutions aligned with client needs and codes.

You will mentor staff, manage budgets, and collaborate across disciplines in a hybrid workplace. This role offers growth opportunities within a 100% employee-owned firm and exposure to diverse markets.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (or equivalent).
• PE license required.
• 7+ years in building design consulting; 8+ preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership in project management.
• Strong client relations and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee, and manage projects of varying size and complexity.
• Assist executives with design scopes, proposals, and contracts.
• Create project schedules with milestones and deadlines.
• Serve as the point of contact for teams and clients.
• Prepare monthly billings and update billing projections.
• Ensure designs meet owner/IMEG standards and codes.
• Maintain design milestones, QC, and construction support.
• Collaborate with design staff across design phases.
• Schedule and lead progress meetings; document outcomes.
• Conduct site visits and resolve client/construction concerns.
• Mentor staff and build client relationships.
• Maintain ethical and professional conduct.
