Job summary

IMEG Corporation is seeking a Structural Project Engineer in Chicago, IL to lead design efforts as a project manager or lead engineer for low to moderate complexity projects. You will mentor junior staff and collaborate with senior engineers to deliver high‑quality structural solutions.

The role supports commercial and institutional work across Chicagoland and the Midwest, emphasizing SE2050 sustainability goals and ESOP ownership. This position offers a hybrid, full‑time schedule.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent, required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License required.
• 2+ years (4 preferred) in building design consulting.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis and design of structural systems for buildings and other structures.
• Use engineering software to create designs, specs, and calculations per codes.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements and communicate technical information.
