Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Strategic Account Executive to lead revenue growth in large strategic accounts with a focus on cloud, security, and web performance solutions.

You will build high-impact relationships with C-level executives, drive net-new opportunities, and expand existing enterprise relationships across multiple units. Collaborative cross-functional teamwork accelerates regional success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
• Proven success in net-new customer acquisition as well as farming existing accounts.
• Experience selling Cloud / Infrastructure / Application security, network, and web performance to large enterprises.
• Strong ability to build productive relationships with customers and deliver outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Building business relationships with the C-level executives by bringing value and solutions to solve large scale cloud, security and performance challenges
• Leveraging your network to help open doors, and start new relationships
• Partnering and enabling with marketing and sales specialists and business development teams to drive interest and awareness within your region
• Partnering with cross-functional team to increase adoption of Akamai services across various verticals and use cases
