Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Strategic Account Executive to drive revenue within established large strategic accounts.

You will work with multiple business units in a fast-paced environment, championing Akamai's brand and delivering value to new and returning customers. Success hinges on selling Cloud, Infrastructure, and Application security, plus network and web performance products to enterprises, while building durable relationships and upholding ethical sales practices

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
• Proven success in net new customer acquisition and farming existing accounts.
• Experience selling Cloud / Infrastructure / Application security, network, and web performance products to large enterprises.
• Strong ability to build productive relationships with customers to achieve outcomes.
• Ethical approach to sales, integrity, and alignment with company values.

Responsibilities

• Build business relationships with C-level executives to solve large-scale cloud and security challenges.
• Leverage your network to open doors and generate new business.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and BD to drive region-wide interest and awareness.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to expand Akamai services across verticals.
