Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Strategic Account Executive to drive revenue within established large strategic accounts.

You will engage with C-level leaders and leverage cross-functional teams to deliver cloud, security, and performance solutions across multiple business units. Your track record should include 10+ years in strategic selling to large enterprises, a strong network, and a proven ability to open doors and close complex opportunities.

Qualifications

• Have 10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent.
• Demonstrate success in relevant net new customer acquisition experience as well as farming existing accounts.
• Have demonstrated success selling Cloud / Infrastructure / Application security, network, web performance products and services to large enterprises.
• Be passionate about building productive relationships with customers by delivering on the outcomes they are looking to achieve.
• Display an ethical approach to sales, show integrity, personal drive and be able to uphold Akamai values in every situation.

Responsibilities

• Building business relationships with the C-level executives by bringing value and solutions to solve large scale cloud, security and performance challenges
• Leveraging your network to help open doors, and start new relationships
• Partnering and enabling with marketing and sales specialists and business development teams to drive interest and awareness within your region
• Partnering with cross-functional team to increase adoption of Akamai services across various verticals and use cases
