Job summary

LR Squared is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to translate customer challenges into tailored data storage solutions. You will work with sales, becoming the technical expert during the sales cycle and demonstrating how our products deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will conduct evaluations, develop benchmarks, and present architectures to win technical approvals, while collaborating with channels and partners to drive revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pre-sales experience in data storage/management.
• Deep knowledge of storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, NFS, SAN).
• Experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and distributed Linux environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software sales.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer business drivers and map them to storage solutions.
• Demonstrate value of the client’s portfolio to customers and partners.
• Lead technical responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
• Configure evaluations and benchmarks to reflect customer needs.
• Create and deliver architecture presentations to win technical approvals.
