Job summary

Everpure, formerly Pure Storage, seeks a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to drive technical solutions for data storage and flash technology. You will partner with sales, act as a technical expert, and help articulate value to enterprise customers across DAS, NAS, and SAN spaces.

You will lead evaluations, build architecture presentations, and translate business needs into innovative storage solutions, staying current with market trends and competitive offerings.

Qualifications

• Pre-sales experience is required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications.
• Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based solutions.
• Familiarity with modern web architecture including AWS well-architected framework; microservices.
• Experience targeting new prospects and converting them into clients.
• Contribute to responses to RFIs/RFPs/RFQs.
• Strong knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, SAN).
• Experience with Linux, NFS, and distributed networking.
• Knowledge of virtualization, provisioning automation, containers, and cloud-native architecture.
• Familiarity with VMware, networking (LAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP).
• Familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP, containers, and microservices is a plus.
• Curiosity and passion for explaining new technology platforms to customers.
• Experience with storage-intensive applications (SQL, Oracle) is desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.

• Compare Everpure solutions with ecosystem products to achieve business outcomes.
• Collaborate with account managers and partners to drive revenue growth.
• Lead technical evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations.
• Create and deliver compelling technical presentations to customers.
• Capture requirements and translate business needs into innovative solutions.
• Identify opportunities for interoperability and testing/validation.
• Support roadmap discussions with customers and partners.
• Produce technical marketing materials and whitepapers with product teams.
• Stay current with competition and market trends to inform strategy.
