The Engineering team is responsible for building platforms, APIs, services, workflows, and architectures for our AI-driven vision, collaborating with data scientists to scale world-scale datasets and deliver production APIs and workflows.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of real-world professional backend/data-driven software experience.
• Production code deployed to cloud-hosted environments.
• Experience delivering incremental releases from proof-of-concept to MVP to production.
• Self-starter with experience on large, complex problems.
• Care deeply about engineering excellence, clean code, and knowledge-sharing.
• Experience taking over codebases and delivering new feature development.
• Strong prioritization and focus, with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience leading other engineers on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Ingest requirements, define technical requirements, and design practical, iterative technology designs.
• Work with product manager to develop implementation plans against roadmaps.
• Maintain and deploy customer-facing workflows to support our product architecture.
• Analyze and propose technical solutions to enhance product offerings.
• Automate, test, and deploy your own and your team’s work.
• Review code and designs, upholding quality standards.
• Mentor developers and help them level up their skills.
• Drive technical decision-making and maintainable solutions across the team.
• Identify gaps and create plans to address them.
• Serve as domain expert for portions of the product surface.
• Cooperate with team leads to keep the team focused on outcomes.
