Job summary
PNC is seeking a Senior System Reliability & Support Specialist to support enterprise applications. Based in one of several technology hubs, you will work with UNIX/Linux fundamentals, Java, Oracle/MongoDB, Kafka, and observability tools to monitor, diagnose, and resolve issues. The role emphasizes incident response, runbooks, and knowledge sharing.
You will participate in on-call rotations, contribute to operational stability, and collaborate with senior engineers to improve system reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in a related role.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with incidents.
- Familiarity with enterprise app support and monitoring tools.
Responsibilities
- Provide first- and intermediate-level technical support for enterprise applications.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues with guidance from senior team members.
- Participate in incident response, triage and resolution activities.
- Follow established procedures for issue resolution and communication.
- Document issues, steps, and resolutions for knowledge sharing.
- Support ongoing monitoring and environment checks; participate in on-call rotation.
