Job summary

PNC's Site Reliability Engineering Center seeks a Software Engineer Lead to drive design and development of scalable software solutions. Based in one of PNC's IT hubs, you will coordinate across teams and own key parts of the technical design.

You will work with Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and microservices, ensuring reliability and performance while rotating for off-hour incidents in a customer-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to design and lead complex software solutions.
• Experience with microservices and modern application stacks.

Responsibilities

• Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
• Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs; prepares documentation.
• Facilitates complex problem resolution and provides technical guidance.
• Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
• Applies modern principles and tools to advance business initiatives.
