PNC is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join the Information Technology Group, based at one of its IT hubs including Denver, CO. The role focuses on stabilizing complex production environments, building robust monitoring, and driving incident resolution with a strong emphasis on capacity planning and reliability.

Qualifications

• Linux administrator with exposure to RHEL environments.
• Experience with parallel file systems (GPFS/Spectrum Scale).
• Slurm scheduler administration experience preferred.
• Scripting with Shell/Bash and basic Python.

Responsibilities

• Stabilize environments and drive engineering stability through analytics and metrics.
• Define and implement dashboards and monitoring; establish SLAs/SLOs.
• Analyze metrics to tune performance and troubleshoot incidents; participate in blameless post-mortems.
• Understand deployment, configuration, and monitoring of services in production; optimize complex systems.
