Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a Production Support Engineer (SMTS) to join the embedded reliability team.

You will scale the Agentforce Operations platform, focus on production excellence, performance tuning, and infrastructure automation, and contribute from design reviews to the day‑to‑day engineering of a highly reliable AI-powered system. As a senior member, you will own the reliability roadmap, collaborate with PMTS‑level engineers, and push for scalable, observable, and robust infrastructure

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SRE, Production Engineering, or Backend Engineering with a strong operations focus.
• Experience scaling products through growth phases (1 to 100) and managing technical debt.
• Ability to write production-grade code in Golang, TypeScript, or Python.
• Proficient with Kubernetes, Terraform/OpenTofu, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Responsabilités

• Own the reliability roadmap for major product areas and scale systems globally.
• Collaborate with engineers to refine infrastructure strategy and capacity planning.
• Maintain and evolve automated environments; advance infrastructure-as-code and observability.
• Support AI/ML infrastructure and ensure real-time data pipelines for insights.
• Lead observability hardening and reduce incidents through tooling and telemetry.
• Deep-dive into SQL, API latency, and cross-service communication for performance.
• Apply AI tools to automate operational tasks and accelerate delivery.
