Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Production Support Engineer (PMTS) to join the embedded reliability team. You will focus on production excellence, performance tuning, and infrastructure automation, embedding with product teams to scale Agentforce operations globally.

You will lead reliability initiatives, mentor a senior team, and drive observability improvements while collaborating across Kubernetes, cloud, and AI-enabled pipelines to ensure scalable, resilient systems.

Qualifications

9+ years of experience in SRE, Production Engineering, or Backend Engineering with a heavy focus on operations and scale.
Experience scaling products through high-growth phases and architectural shifts.
Strong communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Proficiency in production-grade coding with Golang, TypeScript, or Python and automation mindset.

Responsibilities

Own the reliability roadmap for major product areas, scaling systems to global enterprise levels.
Provide technical leadership and guidance within a Principal engineering context.
Mentor LMTS/SMTS and promote technical excellence across the team.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code and data pipelines for AI/ML workloads.
Improve observability, telemetry, and incident prevention across the stack.
Optimize SQL, API latency, and cross-service communication for large data flows.
Leverage AI tools to automate routine operational tasks and accelerate delivery.
