Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel seeks a Senior Speech Language Pathologist to lead patient care in speech and communication rehabilitation. The role emphasizes compassionate, personalized care, mentorship of staff, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive environment.

The ideal candidate holds state licensure, CCC certification, CPR within 30 days of hire, and 2+ years of SLP experience.

Formación

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of two years speech language pathology experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct care to patients and build rewarding patient relationships.
• Support speech language pathologist student program and in-service education.
• Mentor and train new colleagues and other departments as needed.
• Delegate and supervise speech therapy assistants and technicians.
• Celebrate patient victories along the rehabilitation journey.

Educación

Bachelor's degree in speech therapy or management

Master's or Doctorate degree preferred
