Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel in Florida seeks a Senior Speech Language Pathologist to lead our SLP team and guide patients through communication recovery in a supportive, interdisciplinary setting. The role emphasizes mentorship, collaboration, and delivering compassionate care within a nationally recognized rehabilitation organization.

Formación

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in speech therapy or management; Master's or Doctorate preferred.
• Minimum of two years speech language pathology experience.

Responsabilidades

• Providing direct care to patients and building rewarding relationships by understanding each patient's physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in their recovery.
• Assisting with speech language in-service education and our speech language pathologist student program.
• Mentoring and training new colleagues and other departments as needed.
• Delegating and supervising speech therapy assistants and technicians.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
