Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel seeks a Senior Speech Language Pathologist to lead a dedicated team and deliver high-quality patient care. You will mentor staff, supervise SLPs and assistants, and collaborate across departments to improve communication outcomes.

Requires state licensure, CCC, CPR/BLS, and at least two years of experience. A Master's or Doctorate is preferred, with day-one benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required.
• CPR/BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum two years of speech language pathology experience.
• Active Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certifications when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language pathology care and patient-centered therapy.
• Contribute to in-service education and student programs.
• Mentor and train new staff and collaborate with other departments.
• Supervise speech therapy assistants and technicians.
• Celebrate patient progress and outcomes.
