Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel is seeking a Senior Speech Language Pathologist to lead patient care and a dedicated team within our inpatient setting.

You will provide direct therapy, mentor staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care.

This role requires state licensure, CCC, CPR/BLS within 30 days, and a master's or doctorate; two years of experience and clinical ladder involvement are preferred.

Formación

• Current state licensure in Speech Therapy is required.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required.
• BLS/CPR certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in speech therapy or management; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of speech-language pathology experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct care to patients and build rewarding relationships by understanding each patient's physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in their recovery.
• Assist with speech language in-service education and our speech language pathologist student program.
• Mentoring and training new colleagues and other departments as needed.
• Delegating and supervising speech therapy assistants and technicians.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Educación

Bachelor's degree in speech therapy or management

Master's or Doctorate degree preferred

CCC certification (SLP)

Current state licensure in Speech Therapy

CPR certification or within 30 days
