Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wesley Chapel seeks a Senior Speech Language Pathologist to lead our SLP team and guide patients through speech and communication rehabilitation. You will mentor staff, support education programs, and collaborate across departments to deliver compassionate, individualized care.

The role requires state licensure in Speech Therapy, CCC certification, CPR/BLS or within 30 days of hire, and at least two years of experience in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications

• Current state license in Speech Therapy.
• Completion of CCC (ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence).
• CPR/BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of two years of speech language pathology experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients and build rewarding patient relationships.
• Lead and mentor team members and supervise department staff.
• Assist with in-service education and student programs.
• Support other departments and collaborate across teams to optimize patient care.
