Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, communicate clinical benefits, and promote Amgen products across a designated U.S. territory. The role emphasizes marketplace knowledge, relationship-building, and adherence to Amgen values, with a focus on payer navigation and program execution.

The position offers a comprehensive rewards package, with base salary ranges published for the U.S. market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
• Senior: Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales
• Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales
• High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare/scientific field that is not sales
• Preferred: sales, marketing and/or clinical experience within pharma/biotech/healthcare industries; Oncology, Cardiology, inflammation, nephrology, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals to drive product utilization
• Deliver branded sales messages and conduct programs to achieve territory sales targets
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts including access and contracts
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans with the District Manager
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and learn in the Specialty Representative role
• Demonstrate passion for products and maintain brand value throughout the sales cycle
