Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative in the United States. The role focuses on delivering clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and guiding them through the payer landscape while driving branded sales in the assigned territory.

Responsibilities include communicating product benefits, leading educational programs, fostering key account relationships, and supporting marketing strategy with district leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR
• Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR
• High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization of the products
• Deliver branded sales messages and promotional programs to achieve territory sales targets
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts including understanding customer needs, ensuring product access, resolving reimbursement issues, and maintaining contracts
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans with the District Manager
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative
• Maintain passion for products throughout the sales cycle and uphold Amgen values
