Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience
• High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
• High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products and effectively communicate the clinical benefits to medical professionals
• Perform as a sales leader to achieve territory sales by delivering branded sales messages and achieving or exceeding sales targets
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts including discussions based on customer needs and ensuring product access
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans with the District Manager
• Partner with colleagues to share best practices and learn and grow as a Specialty Representative/Senior Representative
• Demonstrate passion for Amgen products and sustain that passion through the sales cycle
• Uphold Amgen values and work in teams, collaboration, and accountability
