Job summary

Redwire Space is seeking an independent and driven Senior Lead for Business Development and Capture to work remotely, ideally in the Denver, CO area. You will lead proposals and pursue commercial and civil space opportunities, with a focus on growing bookings and building strategic customer relationships.

The role requires 10+ years in BD (B2B/B2G), 8+ years in space systems/aerospace, and strong proposal and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in a technical, business, or strategic field.
• 10+ years in Business Development, with B2B/B2G experience.
• 8+ years in space systems, defense acquisition, or aerospace BD.
• Experience with proposals, negotiation and closing.
• Able to work independently and travel up to 15%.
• Engages domestic and international customers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Increase market penetration for key focus areas (avionics, power, thermal, cameras, GN&C).
• Identify potential customers and perform market analysis.
• Promote the company to expand domestic and international client base.
• Achieve 20M+ in bookings annually.
• Maintain partner relations to boost sales and functionality.
• Attend meetings and conferences to promote products/services.
• Lead proposal development and multi-stakeholder coordination.
• Lead team-based customer pitches and develop relationships.
