Job summary

DigiCert is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer in the United States. The role blends technical excellence with sales acumen to qualify and close opportunities within a defined portfolio of accounts. You will demo solutions, run PoCs, and provide end-to-end guidance to ensure customer requirements are met with tailored security architectures.

Travel of ~20–25% is expected. You will partner with Account Managers and cross-functional teams to articulate business value and drive successful bids

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience as an SE or technical salesperson, or equivalent in enterprise software
• Knowledge of PKI, cryptography, and digital certificates is preferred
• Experience with cloud platforms and container tech (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes)
• Experience with REST APIs and DevOps tooling

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical discovery calls to understand customer requirements and pain points
• Lead or participate in product demonstrations and PoCs to show solution value
• Translate complex requirements into actionable technical configurations
• Scope customer environments and recommend best-fit products/services
• Create architecture diagrams and technical proposals for engagements
• Support RFP/RFI responses and bid documentation
• Collaborate with product/engineering and account teams to align solutions with goals
